How to Merge PDF Files

Combine multiple PDFs into a single document, in the order you choose.

Why merge PDFs

Merging comes up whenever the pieces of something you need to send or file live in separate documents: a report split across chapters, a set of signed pages, invoices from a folder, or scans from a multi-page contract.

Rather than opening each file and copy-pasting pages between them, merging combines whole PDFs into one, preserving every page exactly as it was.

How to merge PDFs here

Upload your PDF files below in the order you want them combined. The first file you add becomes the start of the merged document, and so on. You can reorder them before running if you change your mind.

Click Run. The merged PDF downloads as a single file with every page from every source document, in sequence.

If you need more than a merge

You can describe the whole task to the AI File Agent instead of using this page directly. For example, "merge these PDFs and compress the result" runs both steps in one request, or "merge these PDFs and remove pages 2 and 4" combines merging with page deletion.
